The car underwent a complete strip down to bare aluminium, which took nearly 2 years, and was completed in 2002. This was carried out by Clark & Carter, renown for their concours winning coachwork on Rolls Royces and Bentleys. Their attention to detail in the areas that no one normally sees, inspires real confidence. It must be the finest available. Substantial bills and photos are available to substantiate the work. It took over 4 months to track down a new set of original equipment Michelin XWX tyres, they were the last available in the country!
